What a Wonderbowl World
Bob & Willie’s Wonderbowl is similar to your traditional bowling experience, but everything is smaller — it’s mini bowling! The lanes are about half the size, the pins are 7 inches tall, and the bowling balls are the size of a grapefruit. They all weigh 2.5 pounds, which means less time figuring out which bowling ball weight will work best for you.
Sister, Sister!

A Foundation for Learning

While tax dollars cover the basic costs of public schools, there are still many unmet needs. Here are some of the ways we support students, families, and educators at our schools.
A Place at the Table
Setting the table is something worth doing because it helps make ordinary meals feel like something special, and creates a sense of continuity. Anywhere you go, you can feel right at home if your fork and spoon are where you usually find them!
Make a Splash!
When it’s too HOT outside, we know there is one thing that helps battle the heat better than anything else. The pool! Heading down to the pool for a couple of hours is a dream day for most kids. We have compiled a list of all the public pools in Lincoln for you and your family to visit this summer! Family programming and free adult water fitness classes are listed online, lincoln.ne.gov/pools.

Faith for All Families
Church is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why at Christ United we have launched a new Sunday morning experience geared toward families who want to grow in faith together in interactive ways. This gathering is shorter than your average service, about 30 minutes, and provides a more relaxed, casual atmosphere where children and adults can learn, worship, and build relationships together.
Messy House? It’s Time for a Pick-up Game
We've been struggling to get Kenny to pick up after himself, but today I remembered a cleaning hack from my babysitting days. Did you play this pick-up game? It's so simple and actually works. I can't believe I forgot about it.
Dreams Really Do Come True
Every February, hundreds of people from across the state of Nebraska come together to attend the Wish Ball, the yearly gala celebrating the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska.
Play Is Not Canceled
Due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lincoln Chapter of the Nebraska Association of the Education of Young Children has decided to cancel the 2022 Early Childhood Celebration, usually held in April. I know that many people in the community have enjoyed that event for more than 30 years, and we are confident that it will be held in the future.
