A Foundation for Learning
Our top priority at the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools is to ensure students have every opportunity possible to reach their full potential.
While tax dollars cover the basic costs of public schools, there are still many unmet needs.
Here are some of the ways we support students, families, and educators at
our schools.
Emergency Assistance
In partnership with school social workers, families can request funds for basic needs like bus passes, medicine, car repairs, etc.
Fund-a-Need CAMPAIGNS
Fund-a-Need allows educators to easily create online campaigns to crowdsource funds for special classroom projects.
Activities & Registrations
We work with teachers and staff to provide funds for students to enter competitions, attend special performances, and access resources that further enhance education.
Athletic & Activity Uniforms & Fees
We provide assistance for equipment, uniforms, and other fees associated with extracurricular activities to level the playing field for those in need.
Driver's Education
We can cover the cost of driver’s education classes for students who are interested.
Scholarships
With one application, graduating LPS seniors can apply for 90+
Foundation scholarships.
GoPo Hours
We offer students flexible volunteer opportunities that count toward GoPo hours.
Alumni Services
We offer resources and services for all LPS alumni.
Special Project Funding
Does your student have a project they need funding to complete? The Foundation has funds to help with project research and costs.
We invite you to learn more about the assistance we provide and how you can be a part of it at foundationforlps.org/get-assistance.
