Celebrate With Us! The Week of the Young Child Is Almost Here
The Lincoln Chapter of Nebraska AEYC invites you to participate in the week of the Young Child! Caring adults should find ways to help children move, interact with others, learn, talk, sing, and dance. We encourage everyone to honor children each year in April.

Kindermusik: So Much More Than Music!
There’s a very special, almost magical place in Lincoln. A hidden gem if you will. Children know the place when they drive by. They know that inside, a teacher awaits them with a warm smile and a hug, ready to teach them so many fascinating things in a playful way.
It Runs in the Family
Step by step, these siblings keep pace with one another, running cross country.
Books for Babies
Ellie Hiser had a dream of making books accessible to all kids in our city, and through hard work and building relationships, she was able to make that dream a reality.
What a Wonderbowl World
Bob & Willie’s Wonderbowl is similar to your traditional bowling experience, but everything is smaller — it’s mini bowling! The lanes are about half the size, the pins are 7 inches tall, and the bowling balls are the size of a grapefruit. They all weigh 2.5 pounds, which means less time figuring out which bowling ball weight will work best for you.
Sister, Sister!
Makenzie and Macey are 9 years old and will be going into third grade this year. Although, Makenzie wants you to know that she is older by about 30 minutes!
Get in the Game
My name is Lincoln. I’d like to give you my opinion on video games and a little about a few that I think most people will love. To me, video games are great mostly for having fun, but also for learning new things and solving problems. I have learned a lot of from playing video games and watching others play. Here are a few of my favorites! These titles are all available at Lincoln City Libraries too.
A Foundation for Learning
Our top priority at the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools is to ensure students have every opportunity possible to reach their full potential. While tax dollars cover the basic costs of public schools, there are still many unmet needs. Here are some of the ways we support students, families, and educators at our schools.
There's Something Special About Sylvan
With teachers who value working with students one-to-one, and administration involved in the entire process, Sylvan provides an environment that sets students up for success and makes them feel excited to participate in school again.
