Dreams Really Do Come True
Every February, hundreds of people from across the state of Nebraska come together to attend the Wish Ball, the yearly gala celebrating the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska.
Play Is Not Canceled
Due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lincoln Chapter of the Nebraska Association of the Education of Young Children has decided to cancel the 2022 Early Childhood Celebration, usually held in April. I know that many people in the community have enjoyed that event for more than 30 years, and we are confident that it will be held in the future.
Meet Mia
Mia, a spunky and fun-loving 11-year-old, has been beating the odds since the day she was born. The Lincoln Kids Team had the opportunity to sit down with Mia and her mom, Karleigh, to learn more about her story. The conversation left a mark on our hearts and we wanted to share it with everyone!
We Are EarthFuel
Compost is important. It is not dirt or soil; it is better! Compost is a soil additive that is abundant in organic matter. When compost is mixed with soil, it creates a nutrient filled amendment for your landscaping needs.
A Foundation for Learning
From the first day of kindergarten, until they walk across the graduation stage, our top priority at the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools is to ensure students have every opportunity possible to reach their full potential.
