What is your favorite book?

Calendar Mysteries November Night.

Tell us about the book.

It’s kind of about fall, and they’re scared because there’s a big dog and a tree, and one guy left his money by it. There’s a spot he had his money in the backyard. The neighbor just moved in there, and they were making a spaceship. The kids didn’t know what they were making, so they wanted to get into the backyard to get the money, but they couldn’t because the dog was scaring them.

Is it a chapter book?

It’s kind of a chapter book, but it’s also a picture book because it has some pictures. It’s 67 pages.

Tell us about the characters in the book.

The main characters are Lucy, Nate, Bradley, and Brian. They’re trying to get their money back but they can’t because new neighbors moved in and they’re scared of the dog.

Do you have a favorite character?

Yes! I like Nate the best. He talks way more than the other three people.

Do you think everyone should read this book?

Sure. If they like it and it sounds good for them.

Rex and his best friend Darvish are solving a murder mystery about dead pets.

The chicken, Drumstick, because he is a funny animal.

Yes, there are three books, and this is the first.

Kids from ages 8-11

On my trampoline outside.
