Easy Recipes - Tortillas Three Ways
I’m a big fan of customizable recipes that not only double-up on ingredients but improve the odds that everyone can find something they like! These favorites are quick to make, refreshing to eat, and can be made ahead of time for easy, travel-friendly food during these summer months. Grab some of your favorite tortillas and get rollin’!

SALSA TORTILLA ROLL-UPS
Ingredients
• 1 pkg whole wheat or flour tortillas (10 count)
• 1 pkg cream cheese (softened)
•16 oz. container sour cream
• 1 small jar salsa
Directions
Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa in a large bowl until well mixed.
Spread mixture on each tortilla to ½ of edge then start on one end and roll tortilla.
Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1-2 hours for best results. When ready to serve, unwrap and cut into ½ inch wide disks.
CHICKEN WRAPS YOUR WAY
Ingredients
• Large burrito-style wholewheat or flour tortillas(8 count)
• Grilled or breaded chicken (pre-made works great)
• Lettuce or pre-made salad mix
• Tomatoes (diced)
• Shredded cheese
• Avocado (diced)
• Shredded carrots
• Ranch, mayonnaise, or dressing of choice
Directions
Chop chicken (heated or cold) and spread the portion in a line down the center of the tortilla.
Add your choice of toppings (lettuce, salad mix, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, carrots) on top of chicken. Don’t overstuff, less is more!
Drizzle toppings with ranch or other dressing and fold tortilla end(s) burrito style.
PEANUT BUTTER APPLE WRAPS
Ingredients
• Whole wheat or flour tortillas
• Creamy peanut/nut butter or nut-free butter
• Granola cereal
• Large, red-skinned apples
• Golden raisins
• Dried cranberries
• Cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Spread each tortilla to½inch of edge with peanut/nut/nut-free butter. Sprinkle granola over lower two-thirds of peanut butter.
Cut apple into quarters; remove core and chop into small pieces. Sprinkle apple, raisins, dried cranberries, and cinnamon (optional) evenly over granola.
Roll each tortilla starting on apple end and fold tortilla end(s) burrito style
