Create! Discover! Learn! Play!

Hi kids! I’m Kazoo, the new mascot for Lincoln Children’s Museum, and I’m here to welcome all the kids and families who come to visit. I promise that you will experience more fun than you can imagine. So continue reading to learn more!

Lincoln Children’s Museum is an oasis of wonderment and discovery for all ages and levels of curiosity. It’s a happening place with plenty of space, to spread out and go about doing what kids do best – play! With over 23,000 square feet, you will find unstructured settings and exhibits built for adults and kids to play and interact together.

Our hands-on exhibits and programs give children the keys to unlock their minds to learn about arts, sciences, and humanities – knowledge they will tap into throughout their lives. We’re so-o-o-o excited to show off our newest exhibits that will have you smiling and climbing and counting and building – phew! There’s so much to see and do!

Exploring Trees - Inside AND Out  •  The largest of our new exhibits, Exploring Trees - Inside and Out, is a forest of flora fun and learning just waiting to be explored. Kids will be amazed to experience the unique areas on display, including Build a Birdhouse, Eagles Nest, Sights, Sounds & Smells of Nature, and Plant a Tree. Kids will be chirping with excitement as they discover the wonders of the trees!

We are very grateful to the Arbor Day Foundation for their generous donation of this one-of-a-kind exhibit.

Union Bank & Trust  • Calling all young financial wiz kids! The Union Bank & Trust exhibit has new interactive features, like currency for kids to count, a tube system at the bank’s drive-up window that simulates money being sent to the teller and back, a wall of money trivia, and more. Be sure to stop by to make a deposit!

Riley the Robot  • Fascinated by building things? Riley the Robot is a mechanical robot that allows kids to use the robotic arm to build whatever their imagination can design.

It’s robo-tastic!

Bank of Huskers Nation Photo Booth  • Sponsored by First National Bank of Omaha, the Bank of Huskers Nation Photo Booth is a delight for any age. If you’ve ever dreamed about having your photo taken as a Nebraska Huskers teammate, then this is your chance to do it. Just pick your sports setting and suddenly become a Husker elite!

There’s many more amazing things to see and do at Lincoln Children’s Museum. No matter what age you are, there is a space for everyone.

Grow Zone, designed with our youngest guests (ages infant to 3 years) in mind. You’ll find developmentally, age-appropriate toys and activities to delight
their senses.

Tinker Theatre is where you’ll find our playologists guiding kiddos through crafts, experiments, activities, and more. There are sessions each day so don’t miss out!

Kazoo’s U-Stop Cafe is ready to serve you delicious lunch, snacks, and drinks that are appealing to any appetite.

Day Camp – when schools aren’t in session, don’t be left at home with nothing to do. Check our website or Facebook for dates.
